Would a nuclear war actually be a good thing?

Russia has 5500 warheads, we have 3700. If the current war in Ukraine escalated and a nuclear weapon was used, another in retaliation followed by all weapons being uded, laying waste to the world, would it be a good thing?

Most of the nukes are hydrogen bombs and are not that radioactive. So if you survived, radiation wouldn't be that bad of a problem. The issue would be dust in the air, leading to nuclear winter. Plants can't get sun, so they die. Things that eat plants then die after. The southern hemisphere wouldn't be as bad as the north, since most targets are in the north.
