One day lights will come in a film roll. For example, you will be able to buy a 4x4 foot wall/ceiling sticker that is a light. They also have TV's like this. Just unroll it and stick it to the wall. All various sizes.
Cool. Now even your scotch tape will be listening to you. They can make things small enough that you won't notice them. They can make tiny micro-controllers the size of a piece of dirt. They just need an antenna that's clear (might be hard).
I'm not suggesting they would do that specifically, but imagine you take a device apart or even a non-digital item apart and you find some masking tape on the inside. That could be a miniature computer and radio that was easily added after the fact, and you would think it was just a weird unnecessary manufacturing step.

Somebody will die who sets up quick replace components for those and tries to market them.
