thats not the real navy, that USNS, it's a retired navy ship operated by merchant marines (civilians)

They wear Hawaiian shirts and flip-flops while UNREPing.
I've UNREP'ed that ship, from a USS ship.

The real Navy doesn't have any refueling ships anymore, they offloaded it to the USNS.
I was on decommissioning crew on the last one.

Still the only fueler they had for the region. The nuclear powered aircraft carrier doesn’t need it but the planes and smaller boats do.
