To be fair, AOU wasn't wrong about Justin abandoning Voat in that last year of life. Assuming the site was even up to begin with, he wouldn't give to flying fucks about the content or users...until he suddenly would and would start banning people as if he wasn't an absentee site owner. As many good times as I had there, it's for the best that it died. Justin was a horrible site owner who gets venerated by people as if he was some kind of saint.

There was never a case where he was ever right, though. He may have a few ideas that are shared among the crowd but the fucking guy would always respond in a way that was more wrong than whoever he was trying to prove a point to.

I think most people have nostalgia for Voat, not remembering just how bad it was in that final stretch. I remember old school Moshi,SBBH, etc. by the end, assuming you could even connect, it was all glowie posts and qtards. I get that people here hate AOU, but he wasn't wrong about Justin

Toobaditworks was not AOU as this title suggests. In fact it was the person who created the thread 'PuppoKittah' and other alts that were doing the spamming.

I remember this happening. Toobaditworks started posting stupid shit to v/aww because of the spamming taking place which was taking up the entire frontpage, the vote manipulation and the brigading. His method, although flawed, brought light to the actual spammers and got them banned. Only for a short time before puttitout let them back onto the site again.
