It's nearly pure alcohol, most animals don't seek out poison, but our society is soo fucked up now that poisoning ourselves is more peaceful than living sober in clown world...

You do know that there's a difference between ethanol and methanol right? Most hand sanitizers contain methanol, and that's why they don't have to pay (((taxes))) on it.

BTW I had half a fifth of Maker's Mark last night, so I don't think I'd be welcome around the Puritans.

You clearly don't.

As natural fermentation of by yeast of fruit sugars creates ethanol, which is what badgers are getting tanked on in the forest. Badgers are not looking for hand sanitiser.

roughly, The first 100 ml of liquid from a run on a still, called the head, is mainly methanol and quite poisonous. It is colllected and discarded.
