Its not the first time its happened and it doesn’t only happen to whites. Many native americans sided with european colonial powers over their own people. Plenty other examples too.

An inability to predict the future is one good reason why it might happen. Sometimes that inability is caused by misinformation about the present state of affairs: e.g. blacks are really friendly or just underprivileged

It’s called empathy and it’s only a defect if we are forced to live among no Whites.

It's the jew effect on particular types of mind, strongest in leftists and women, also exploiting the high trust aspects of white nations.

They target people who will say or do anything in return for even the tiniest bit of moral high ground, praise, societal status or power. It doesn't work on a responsible man, but unfortunately by its definition that dual category is automatically a minority.

Imagine the twisted exuberance of a weak-minded underachiever when it gets to call a man "racist" publicly, just for opposing immigration. It's irresistable and they crave it.

It's not empathy, it's selfishness and myopia. If we were as empathetic as some of us claim, why would that not fortify our in-group preferences and keep the nation water tight? It's nothing more than selfishness, short-sightedness, and stupidity.

Normalcy bias. People are not interested in politics, they just grumble when the consequences hit them.
