Most country songs are covers. It’s a weak as fuck industry that most come into by covering others tunes. Blues is the same way, Zeppelin, Cream, they all cover old blues.

That's the music industry in general! There is a great video that shown modern Musicians going back to old school classical music (Beethoven, Mozart, etc) and stealing their talent and weaving it into their modern crap-ass "music"!
