i have to complain about something.

i had a BLT from timmies today cause i craved some bacon, and wtf happened in the years since ive ordered one from them that it tastes so fucking bland? it would genuinely taste more of something if they had made the sandwich out of literal cardboard. like seriously, how do you get flavorless bacon?

their mayo = somehow tasteless

their lettuce = somehow also tasteless

their tomatoes = somehow also bland and tasteless

their bacon = barely tastes like bacon at all and also tastes like nothing

Because It is overwhelmingly gmo-grain fed highly processed goyslop.

Nothing has any flavor (and very little nutritional value) because they are maximized industry crops harvested before actual maturation to ensure shelf life (for processing and transportation in refrigerated units) in low quality/ over used soils.
Both Pizza hut and dominoes here in NZ routinely undercook pizzas in the belief they somehow look better and fresher if the toppings are only half cooked. Fcking disgusting.

I am incubating a theory that drastic food chain changes occurred during the covid scam.
I stopped eating Ramen, not because I wanted to and yes it was beneficial and I ate too much of it.
here's the thing, something changed. It tasted different, and I began to have digestive issues.
I dont usually get so suspicious to something, but it was just too perfect and I've literally been living off the stuff since I could walk. Suddenly, I can't stomach it, the broth tastes different and the noodles changed.
I switched brands, flavors, then eventually just stopped buying it.

I think they did something to the food. Recently.

no need to further incubate that theory. COVID scam was the necessary vehicle for the needed market disruption they needed to go forward with their food scams. They credit it , they sings its praises.It allowed everything they had been trying to get pushed through actually pushed through. It put them ahead of schedule. Everything is brought in precooked and gets heated up before serving. That translates to no flavor. The staff is mostly immigrants who don't know shit about food preparation anyhow so you probably don't want them doing anything more complex than pushing buttons on the microwave or starting the sandwich press.

But if you eat the doughnuts you might as well be shooting poison directly into your veins so who cares about some crappy sandwiches.

Find a restaurant that still employees actual cooks and wait staff that doesn't turn over every couple days, and then give it your business. And if you aren't happy with the cost of eating out then stay home and do your own cooking.

DIY BLT wraps. Low carb wraps, cook the bacon nice and crispy then freeze it for best effect. Add a touch of Tabasco. Use some nice leafy romaine lettuce as well. Wrap the wrap in some aluminum foil med-tight for later eating.
