I highly doubt any Sherriff in Florida would’ve attempted prosecution if he shot the guy- especially from inside the house- “thinking” he was breaking inside his daughters room…
Definitely not My local Sherriff Gualtieri, and absolutely not THe one and only Sherriff Grady Judd- he would herald this guy as a hero for saving the state the costs of multiple incarcerations…

If I’m not mistaken, he was opposed to it because it wasn’t open carry.. I may be mistaking him for Grady Judd… there are several west coast Sherriff’s I would trust… Pasco, citrus, levy, hernando, Polk, Pinellas, gilchrist, lake, Hardee….

It is wise to be able to elect the law enforcement responsible for one’s local jurisdiction . Accountability is a deterrent

The only time gators are ever really a threat is if you're a big enough dumbass to swim in their water. They're usually pretty chill and don't give a fuck about you.
