I really hate react media. Why do I give a single fuck who these other people are and what faces they make to someone's performance, yet they get a good third of the camera time.

You and most of us here don't care. Those who do are women and soybois. They ask themselves not if something is true, but if something is acceptable by the group.

It's the same thing here, and with all 'react' videos. They seek approval by the 'group' they see online.

Those who need not concern themselves with what the group thinks are typically strong men, malcontents, and autists.

These shows are the peak of globohomo/ emotional manipulation - from the background theme music after auditions and the 'gee she fcking amazing' faces - with the dramatic pauses and then fast paced camera angles - all to give an emotional response and engage the viewer.
