All you have to do is add a detonator and explosive, the trigger is already built in. Just swap out the battery for a half battery half explosive, wire in the detonator and attach it two the trigger which could be specific message, which seems to be what happen here or the timer.

They could put this in every device, probably will soon. Probably have put it in a great many devices. Then it is a simple matter to target any group.
