Not my creation but I think the punchline works better at the bottom. You get months of over-confident headlines declaring a particular outcome's alleged certainty, then a real egg-on-the-face moment.
I think some of the smaller players, maybe even Nate Silver, think it's real or what they do matter. People who run their mouths on tv about political gossip try to sound smart and informed but they're just retards with microphones. They're mostly pawns, and their usefulness comes from the top players making the pawns think they're important.
