A new guy came onboard about four weeks ago, an Eagle Scout. Let me tell you, this guy has his shit together.
He’s great with people, has good work ethic, a sense of humor and is confident. Confidence is a huge thing in dealing with the public and sales stuff. This dude at 24 has done more awesome things than I’ve done in my 54 years. All of his outdoor experiences and different projects and things he’s worked on over the years and his skill set just blows me away. Makes me wish I’d had gone down that path when I was young.
Anyway, note to self: hire Eagle Scouts.

I thought it was now a requirement to be able to deepthroat the scoutmaster to get anywhere in the scouts. The woke cancer has destroyed a once proud American institution.
I understand there are still isolated pockets of resistance to the “new and inclusive scouts” and your coworker may not be quite the exception I would imagine… But judging by what the girl scouts have become (a lesbian grooming operation) I’d imagine the boy scouts aren’t any different.

Eagle Scouts aren't always 100% the best people. Knew a guy in high school that managed to become one, ended up being a drug addict and a loser eventually. It's definitely hard enough of a feat to achieve that it filters the most useless people out.

This guy did like 30% more projects or merits than needed to reach Eagle, because he was interested in them. The dude is going places. I know what his major is at UC.
