Me too. Ive quit alcohol and junkfood. Now Im like, “ Helena when are you going to give up these jew shows?” Its just a pleasure seeking behavior. I do it to self-soothe. I suppose its a type of intoxication.

Maybe you could make this argument for traditional forms of entertainment. But the copyrighted stuff is engineered to be as addictive as possible. They literally have teams of psychologists studying strategies that make movies/TV shows harder to resist.

Honestly, I look back on my life and all the time Ive wasted looking at this shit instead of living real life and I think: Im not better off. The amish don’t walk around saying “ OMG if I don’t see Game of Thrones, I don’t know what Ill do!” They don’t miss it at all.
