The usage of flat when people question the globe earth is not used to mean there are no topographical features of the terrain.

It means that the surface is level and not curving around a ball, as water does not curve and there are no physics that accurately describe water clinging to a ball spinning at 1000 miles per hour at the equator.

Earth is not a ball, it is an oblate spheroid. This accounts for the distribution of water. Yes, centrifugal force "pulls" the water toward the equator, just like the rest of the mass of earth. That's WHY it's an oblate spheroid. Centrifugal force of spinning does not overcome the force of gravity (when talking about Earth).

You must consider the arc, the diameter of the earth, and speed to calculate the "pull" of centrifugal force on matter. The Earth's diameter is HUGE and this makes the "1000mph" spin negligable compared to gravity.
