I'm at wally world and everything is significantly more expensive.

Everything but TV's. You can get a 65" flat screen for $325 bucks!

Guns are cheap. Ammo is (relatively) cheap. Cars are still cheap when you buy used. Bitcoin is cheap. Gold and silver is cheap. Clothing is still relatively cheap.

Well to be honest I don't know about Bitcoin b/c I've never followed crypto but the rest doesn't seem cheap to someone that doesn't make a lot of jewbucks.

I was looking at those TV's yesterday. I saw a fucking Samsung 75" for $398. My dad needs a new TV is the only reason I was looking. I have Oled's. A little more expensive. I'm lucky with my walmart. Its usually pretty decent people---working class rural white folks. This said, you never wanna go there on the 1st-3rd. That's when all the scum comes out. I despise that trash as much as I do niggers and jews. I also have a healthy hate for born rich inheritance pos.

My 49" $1K Samsung computer monitor just died after 14 months of use. Luckily, it has a one-year warranty. You will buy everything and own nothing ... eventually (tm).

If it uses some brick for the power supply chances are that failed, 90% of the time its usually whatever is supplying power that fails on electronics first.

Just replace the brick, i've gotten so many devices working again by just buying a new power supply.

As a side note, a big reason your smaller monitor is more expensive than a big screen TV is due to the data collection capabilities of "smart" TVs. They more than make up the cost of pricing their TVs low by selling the data they gather from your TV usage to 3rd parties for Lord knows what purposes.

Here's the thing with tvs. First of all they're all made in the same place unless they have some sort or proprietary technology like processors. So while a basic TCL 65" 4k goes for peanuts a 65" 4k Sony bravia xbr OLED goes for nearly $2k. The other thing is they are advertising devices. Built in microphones in the remote will listen in to your conversations. So it's more profitable to sell you data than sell you the tv.

Probably more than one. Also those fuckers are small these days. I found one on my mini PC after noticing a mic as input in the mixer. The thing isn't much larger than a couple of rice-grain capacitors. It has a tiny hole in the top, that's the clue.

You can fry the telemetry circuits with a sweep from an RF frequency generator operating on a carrier wave to produce plenty of sidebands. It saves from having to figure out where the mic and the wifi bits are located. I did that to a phone a while back as a proof of concept.

There's a reason old technology is big right now. Cassette Walkmans $50 easy. DVD/VCR combos with HDMI out. $200+ easy. CRTS do well but once they start approaching 32" they drop off.
