Quality over quantity every time in my opinion.
I'm not against large families; my parents were one of eight and 11 respectively and most of my 19 aunt/uncles are swell folks.
My three boys are each eight years apart which might be a bit large of a gap however children need a lot of attention from the PARENTS until the age of four or five.
Many large families have older children raising the younger, not just helping out and it shows as adults.

Many large families have older children raising the younger, not just helping out and it shows as adults.

And then the oldest resents their parents for having kids with such a large age gap, because they're then forced by their parents to be auxiliary parents, cutting in to time that should be spent on learning.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 0 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 14:53:13 ago (+0/-0)

should be spent on learning.

Just wondering what age do you think young adults / "kids" should be "learning" until? What age should they be starting a "career"?

I think a homeschooled kid could easily pass out of a bachelors if they wanted or start a professional career at 14.

I had a NYC public education and don't know anyone that was home schooled. My opinion is still horribly skewed towards "teach kids a lot of the basics they need to live" like basic math, English, science, economics, real history, other things I can't think of right now.

But what if you have a kid who's the next Michaelangelo, the artist half? That kid could make a great living painting some incredibly beautiful shit.

ya that's what I am thinking, we need a way for kids that are brilliant to get tf out there and be doing their thing asap.

Also homeschooling isn't exactly just "mom is staying home and teaching them". It's also the parents hired a single tutor, or groups of different specialty tutors for like 2 one hour 1-1 sessions per week to teach a specific topic at the kid's pace, with a personally tailored curriculum, allowing them to excel into orbit.

My oldest did conventional schooling including currently attending University.
My middle teen has been homeschooled his entire education. We haven't needed outside help yet and my primary goal has been to teach him how to teach himself, including being a discerning viewer of information.
In this way we are able to accommodate his abilities and at his pace and this does include not being limited to a certain grade's materials.

[ - ] CoronaHoax 1 point 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 10:57:04 ago (+1/-0)

teach him how to teach himself

It's literally all colleges do. Give you the book, give you the topics, and literally tell you "teach yourself".

I don't think education ever ends but maybe that's just me.

I gave my (at the time) 11 y/o a portion of the PSAT and he did really well. I have no doubt some kids are far more capable as teens than some adults!

[ - ] CoronaHoax 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 10:56:06 ago (+0/-0)

Education shouldn't even start until you're a independent adult imo. It's the only real time YOU'RE in control of your education.

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 08:51:05 ago (+0/-0)

I actually liked the age gap b/c it seems like the older child was more independent and able to attend to himself so caring for the baby did not interfere with child-rearing of the older ones at critical age.
My only real issue with such a large gap b/t children in my family is that it is a little more difficult to find group/family activities that can be engaging for them at the same time.

It was common back in the day.
If a woman marries at 18-20 and then has a baby every two years, she can easily have ten kids by 38

[ - ] NeverHappened 1 point 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 11:06:22 ago (+1/-0)

She will probably also have no teeth by 50 y/o lol.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 19:24:47 ago (+0/-0)

Says who bitch? Prove your point with evidence or gtfo. I have seen grandmas who had 8-10 children with all their teeth and hair.
You can look up a couple documentaries on a handful of families in UK, USA, and Australia that have upwards of 15 kids. The mothers have all their teeth and bones and hair in their fifties.

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 08:34:05 ago (+0/-0)

Touchy much? I have seen grandmas with 8-10 children and almost no teeth by the age of 45. I guess my evidence is as good as yours.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 10:13:02 ago (+0/-0)

Never happened

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 7 monthsSep 10, 2024 08:06:39 ago (+0/-0)

Haha nice. Anyway, some examples are my grandmothers, one who had full dentures when she had her 11th child at nearly 45 and the other had a couple missing teeth when she had her 8th on her 40th.
Another example I know is someone more recently who never had a cavity until her first child where she lost two teeth within a couple years after pregnancy.
I'll grant that nutrition goes a long way but pregnancy is still hard on a lot of women and childbirth particularly for a young women who's hips haven't spread yet.
Further, as I have commented here, I don't think it's great for an individual's development as a person to not have at least 3-4 years as the baby with the majority of parental attention focused mostly on them. The other children need to be old enough to manage themselves as to not take attention away from the baby and in no way should older children be raising their siblings. Older children help with familial responsibilities; they should not be "parents".
Just my two cents.

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 7 monthsSep 10, 2024 09:59:54 ago (+1/-0)

Bruh, maybe your family needed to up their cheese intake.

I will say that I agree with the 3-4 years gap between children, mostly because that’s enough time for a woman’s body to replenish and provide the best for the growing fetus.
I also agree women should not have kids before their birth giving hips are in place which is about 19-21.

I was only saying it is possible to have ten or more children with one woman and no tooth loss if they have good nutrition and support

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 08:43:28 ago (+1/-1)

pregnancies deplete. If you're not losing your everything to each baby you're doing it wrong.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 10:12:47 ago (+0/-0)

Fake news. You are a lying bean. You guys lose everything because you have poor nutrition culturally

[ - ] Merlynn 0 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 12:52:16 ago (+0/-0)

If more women were like this,we wouldn't have all these problems. Also notice that the "declining sperm count" and "fertility issues" that are supposedly the cause of the dropping birth rate suddenly don't seem to apply to these 2. Hmmm,it's almost like it's a bunch of bullshit.

[ - ] FilthyGlobalist 0 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 19:57:55 ago (+0/-0)

It's really a shame so many Whites opt for no kids or stop at 1 or 2. Their lives would be much more fulfilling and full of joy with 4 or more kids.

He seems to be quite adept at keeping his sausage happy.

Well there are cocktail winers and Mortadella.

Mortadella! You are Italian/Sicilian!

Pelvic floor is muscles just like anywhere else in the body. If there wasn't injury/complications during birth then it's just exercise that is needed.

my one grandma had 8 kids and each of them grew up to hate the other one. Not the outcome you would expect. Hope this lady has better luck.

This is the greatest terse line I will read today. And my day just started.

You don't have babies for your children to be friends it's immaterial. You have babies to sustain your own population.

[ - ] Gowithit 2 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 09:21:46 ago (+3/-1)

1 of the 8 came out with blonde hair and blue eyes and she ended up with a black guy. Guess what her kids dont have.
You don't have babies for your children to be friends

i do. I saw the one by herself and figured she needed people.

[ - ] NeverHappened 0 points 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 11:05:12 ago (+0/-0)

Anecdotal experience but all of my peers that grew up in a large family (more than 4 children) at most have one child each and many have none. Imagine having five children only to end up with three grandchildren total. Quality over quantity.

[ - ] nibnab 1 point 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 15:30:28 ago (+1/-0)

Some truth. JS Bach had 20 children, yet has no living descendants. Furthermore he must have been an amazing father to sire and rear CPE and other musical geniuses. At this point in the game, making millions of dollars and having multiple surrogates is the way. Even the Germans understood this in the 30s with The Lebensborn.

[ - ] NeverHappened 1 point 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 09:12:30 ago (+1/-0)

First part is interesting. Also funny b/c JS is a distant great uncle to me (great-gma maiden name was Bach).
I can see what you're talking about with the second half of your comment but that feels very disgusting to me.

[ - ] Sector2 1 point 7 monthsSep 8, 2024 13:16:44 ago (+1/-0)

4 and 11 for me. Only Jason was a weird one among the 11. Among the 4 Graden brought her rate up to 25%.

Have lots of kids they say, it'll be great they say.

Until they hate you and/or each other, and you're wasting away alone in a nursing home with spics and niggers looking after you, Whites and Asians if you have the money, getting the occasional visitor.

[ - ] jfroybees 1 point 7 monthsSep 9, 2024 16:58:01 ago (+1/-0)

It's a fifty-fifty chance. "Thems good odds."
