I wish I could put that story in a bottle and carry it around as a perfect example.

I have a young memory, maybe 5 years old, on the playground, an actual playground as a child.
Somehow, I had become engaged with a small black kid my age/size, we are both tiny so I cant imagine any adults saw this. Anyway he must have started with me or I started with him (I absolutely do not remember the context at all) all I remember was that eventually, as I thought we were about to throw down, I called him a nigger. Not fully understanding it but I knew it was a bad thing you could call a nigger. Whole playground surrounded us, big kids little kids, all kids and the topic was no longer the dispute, but that I had said the unholy n word and directed it at an actual niglet. I remember very little else except being outnumbered, attacked (physically) and retreating (physically). The other kid didnt come at me at all, the crowd did.

I also remember thinking what a catch I would be as an adult having been made aware of silly racism and that I must issue pussy passes and everything else the lifetime network spews. I bought it for a good time, so I wasn't racist and I was a bit of a simp for the ladies.

I'll let the fact that I am now here, guide the judgement on whether things worked out well with that strategy.
