I find this somewhat laughable, because I was about 14 when I started drinking beer! In a couple years I was a full fledged drinker, and in the bars drinking beers with the older boys...

I'm not doing too bad! The intensity of my drinking leveled off after I graduated University, and all but stopped when I met my wife. I was lucky that my heavy drinking significantly slowed down when I was in my mid to late 20's. I still go out with one of my boyhood drinking buddies, once, maybe twice a year and have drinks. The one thing that I have to be thankful for, is that I wasn't an alcoholic.

We drank, not because we needed to, but because that's what we did. Drinking was just part of the 80's. We all had strict Fathers, the odd thing was, that they didn't have the notion that drinking was taboo. They gave us the rope to hang ourselves, metaphorically speaking, we were smart about not getting in trouble. And drinking just wasn't a big deal like it would be today. I'm glad I grew up when I did.

Hey, I wouldn't have, but mom and dad were already passed out and there was no other way to get them and the car back to the house.
Plus I had school the next day. Sheesh.

I've never represented a child for DUI but why not! Stranger things right?

I was ready at 16, about two days after I was given on a license Wednesday. In truth I was preparing for that day in the 2 years leading up to it by drinking and peddling.

Baby steps.

I could see this turning into an effective campaign.

Hey if a seven year old boy is old enough to decide to dissect his penis and invert it into a vagina, give that "boy" a good scotch!

[ - ] xmasskull 2 points 9 monthsSep 4, 2024 23:19:46 ago (+2/-0)

...a good scotch & keys to the car.
