German elections are a bit strange.

Friend of mine from Germany says half his family wanted to vote for AFD, but I guess the way elections work in Germany is that each party has its own voting station. So by default, your vote is already doxxed just by walking into the building.
And there was huge protests out front of each AFD office, so a few of his family was intimidated out of voting. And I’m sure that’s the case for scores of other Germans.

And yes I realize there’s no such thing as an actually right wing party in Europe since the Golden Dawn was squashed.

Unless things have changed in the last 17 years, this sounds like bull. There are voting locations spread out the area in each voting district. Voting is secret.

Don’t know for sure, but I never said how many voting locations there are in each region.
Just that each station is “allegedly” dedicated to 1 party.

At least in the region he was talking about. It might not even be the case everywhere.

I double checked and you’re right. My friend heard that part wrong from his boomer German aunty. There was no dedicated party voting station.

I double checked and the party specific voting station part of the story was a misunderstanding

Ya it’s definitely weird.
It might be the case that’s just a unique scenario in that area or something

Read 90% of that and didn’t see anything specifically mentioning the nature of the voting station itself.
I’ll have to double check with my friend.
Perhaps something got lost in translation

at least they don't have the dominion voting machines (unconstitutional), like in america. "Voting machines are no longer used in Germany since the Federal Constitutional Court ruled on 3 March 2009 that the Federal Ordinance on Voting Machines (Wahlgeräteverordnung) was unconstitutional"

Hmm maybe you confuse something here.

every party can have their own (local) office but the voting is for all parties in public buildings.

What is strange though is how the whole direct/indirect 1st and 2nd vote thing works.

And by fucking around with those they cucked the Afd in Saxony out of a possibility to block constitutional changes by taking the blocking minority, because "we counted wrong and the greens and SPD how barely made it in now how one seat more."

Or like Merkel they just "reverse the election" if it doesnt fit.

But what you are saying is not happening (at least yet and in he open)

I double checked and my friends boomer German auntie was wrong about the party specific voting station. But she said there was a small anti-AFD protester group swearing at people wearing or carrying AFD signage of any kind. So that was what intimidated her out of voting.
And the town was Schlangen .

Oh yeah thats common, in fact its state sponsored (not officially and over 20 corners, but those fuckers get paid and get paid by tax money.) (Not to say that there are not enough idiots doing it for free)
