I notice that most people who don't have their shit together, just repeatedly make obvious bad decisions.

Like, can't pay bills, but spends $10+ per day on cigarettes.
At the end of the year, that's $3,650 you could have invested in something useful.

Maybe stop sabotaging yourself, so you aren't spending 75% of your time recovering from self-sabotage.

I work off of digital lists, meaning files, as they are easier to organize than paper. (I even made a local website to assist.) I initially would move what was completed to another list. Even stupid, minor things go on the list. Complete the easy ones initially. When you get even a number of stupid things done in a day, reviewing the completed list would make me more positive. Now, I don't even need the completed list. I just try to barrel through the "need to be done" list.

Also, for more difficult tasks, just start them. You don't have to complete them in one day.

E: And another for more difficult tasks, break them down into subtasks.

The more you can do for yourself,the less you depend on others. The less you depend on others,the less the system can control you. There's a reason they NEED to take away your rights. It's to make you dependent on them and then they can control you.
