As a person who has used public defenders three times and a criminal defense lawyer once, I can tell you that the PD lawyers just follow the written rules/law and therefore they are all the same. They are literally there to defend the public per the constitution; everyone gets representation. A retard who can read can do this job.

The one time I paid a lawyer, I got first up in front of the judge, because lawyer knew the judge, it cut my costs to him down by not waiting for the alphabetical roll call. I also got off pretty easy with time served.
