For real. I don't drink coffee. I don't do well on caffeine but I never understood my coworkers dropping $7 or more a day everyday on Starbucks. Especially when where at worked had one of those pod machines and normal for free.

Big time. Same people wouldbe getting fast food everyday while I was eating what I meal prepped. I could only think to myself how on earth do you have that kind of money to do this everyday? Also I'll take my reheated home cooked meal over goyslop any day.

I occasionally get coffee with the missus or of course when I'm on the road but as a general rule do not make it a constant habit to buy pre prepared drinks especially when the price is $6 vs $.50

Right. I have a keurig for the work truck and even buying those pods is a little cringe to me but nothing in comparison to a barista habit.

When I was single, the go-to first date would always be a simple coffee. If some bitch tries to push the limits the most they can spend is like $7 extra on a cake instead of a $50 steak and $20 glass of champagne. You get a feel for them that way.

Additionally, going to a coffeehouse in a new city can give you a feel for the area. You can put your finger on the pulse of the city by hanging out and people-watching..

I have a french press at home. I do go downtown sometimes, and on occasion feel like having a cup of coffee from the roasters while I'm there. The $3 isn't going to kill me.

They were maskers though, so pretty much limit it to once every few months. Probably May or June last time.
