I was strolling through a flea market today and I overheard some old niggers grunting to each other:

It's odd for niggers to think about future events, so I thought I would report the word on the street.

I carry a .38 special because it’s compact and easy to pocket. I usually have two stripper clips to reload. Maybe it’s time to also carry a box of ammo in the car for the time being. Two weeks, hmmm.

Look at a Ruger lc9/ec9, or an M&P shield, they are super small and you can carry mags.

I have an M&P Shield as well. But my confidence in it is low. I’ve experienced issues with it at the range. I’m not willing to stake my life on it until I work the bugs out of it. Every few rounds it fails to feed. It’s a combination of improper maintenance and ammo quality I think. I’ve been changing the way I clean and lubricate and have been trying different brands of ammo (when I can find them.) I’m not ready to take it to a smith yet, I want to try a few more things first.

That’s why I like Glock. Although not as compact, you can feed it any garbage you want and it just works.

Yeah I have the LC9 and my wife has the shield. I put probably 400 rounds thru the Ruger and the chamber indicator spring jammed the slide open on one shot and it was unfixable at the range, meede tools to take it apart. Sent it back to the factory and they fixed it. I also upgraded the trigger springs and I have a 3 lb super smooth trigger.

I thought about that, it’s a .40 in a small frame and it snaps back pretty good. I always shoot with a two handed grip and hold it firmly so I don’t think it’s that. I wonder if I should have gotten it in 9mm.

When it comes to cleaning and lubing, I find there's not much worth to experiment with. Hoppe's No.9 Bore Cleaner for the really filthy barrels and Ballistol for all other light-medium cleaning.

As for lube, I started using Lucas Extreme Duty gun oil a few years ago and it's the absolute best I've tried. You don't need to apply much and it holds well.

These three products are all you need.
