Makes me wonder if red pigment in living creatures is made using iron molecules. I will surely research this now. I mean, would make perfect sense considering the abundance of iron in non plants.

Yeah he tries sometimes but Penelope just thows a fit and gets in her pool. Ill probably end up giving her to a duck person, because I have a bunch of chicks being raised to be Rusty's bitches soon.

On another note, Rusty is chill as fuck and lets u pick him up with no fuss, hes great. But he can be scary when hes trying to protect penelope

That's cool, my 3 roosters are assholes but I don't get to cuddly with them so that's probably my fault. I have about 20 hens at the moment I think, but I harvest the ones that cause problems so I don't keep count as much as I use to. My buddy/neighbor has 4 ducks. They are a flock animal so they don't like to be alone, but they're bitchy birds and don't like each other either so the chase each other around a lot and have a constantly shifting power dynamic. Live Duck soap opera is entertaining as fuck and the eggs are my favorite when I can get some. Buddy doesn't like to give them up, unless he has too many to eat
