It was a training exercise. The tasty spiny lobster was already dead or close to it…
If it was alive it would’ve scurried under a rock or coral head as soon as the dog hit the water- much less the couple seconds it took for Fido to swim down and grab it…..

Hence the tickle-stick and net- or just barehand the motherfuckers and enjoy the fire coral…..
