Everyone was trying to hawk their family heirlooms. Everyone had money problems.
Everyone hawked their booty.
Flea markets, Yahoo auctions, actual auctions, yard sales, the wanted section of the newspaper, side of the road sales and window stickers are all out the window.

its estate sales now. all those people held on to that precious junk and its being sold off now that theyre dying off. i have friends back home ho make a good living collecting up all the tools of a productive generation and sell them off.

There have always been estate sales. You gotta realize your stuff is gonna be trash to your kids. Most young people don't have a garage to put tools in if that's what you're talking about.

The most crushing ones to watch are the Family Farm estate sales.

Generational farms, livestock, equipment, valuables, homes, and property all sold in one day. Shit that took 4 generations to build just liquidated in 10 hours or less.

That's what my family did with my grandparent's stuff when they passed. Estate sale. I was in no position to make it out to southern California at the time. I didn't care about the cars, boats, houses, electronics. I just wanted some of my grandpa's tools. The things he used everyday when he was piddling around on the ranch.

Anyways I'm sure a bunch of mexicans bought and resold everything by now.
