So, a few dozen guys hiding in the woods painting targets?

That’s how it works. Deny the enemy free movement in an area. That’s the contested part. When they retreat that’s the conquested part. They use force and push you out that’s the liberation part. War is very simple.

A fee hundred troops hiding in the forest, hated by the locals, isn't going to force the Russian military into submission, fool.

But they can deny freedom of movement. Submission isn't always the goal when contesting an area.

Yes or no. Have you looked at a map of where this invasion took place? The only freedom of movement being limited is the freedom of the locals to move in and out of the area.

Like I said, war is simple. However successfully accomplishing the steps is where it gets complicated. War may be simple but isn’t easy.

Yes. And the "Ukrainians" sent into to Russia, using US weapons to attack a nuclear power plant in Russia, is simply doing nothing more than getting more Ukrainians killed for no reason and stoking the tensions of a full blown world War. Fucking great!

Yeah, doesn’t seem like good strategy at all. Poor guys.

Not seeing a map on that site, but those bridges are likely the ones to the west of the current invasion. There's an area of Russia just to the west, and directly beside Ukraine, that's cut off by a large meandering river, with just a few bridges. In theory, Russia now can't get more forces there to defend it, but the Kursk Op is going so poorly that the Ukrainians probably can't afford forces to attack there too.

I care not what these cretinous maggots on the opposite side of this disgusting globe do to each other.
