Yep, but he does have the $38 million now tho, the conservatorship has ended (it was kept while he was playing and then rescinded when he had retired after been put into some untouchable time deposit fund, they litertally made sure that he would end up being set for life after his playing career finished) - the suit revolves around him pissed the Touhy's 'profited' off his name and likeness by A) The 'autobiographical book they had written. B) The movie that was based on said book. C) She did speaking engagements discussing her life story around the book (she was being paid up to $50 000 per engagement).

Thus He alleged they 'reaped' up to $8 million dollars off his name over a decade, and gave a sob story about how the movie cost him first drafts picks and a higher playing wage and everyone thought that he couldn't read. lmao.

EDit: the nigger is salty for no damn reason (cash me outside !! ), plus the touhy's sold all their ownership of taco bell and kfc franchises in 2019 for $211 million, so there is that i guess.
