Healthy heart

The best way to prevent, slow down or reverse plaquing in the arteries:
• Vitamin K2
• High vitamin C foods
• Vitamin E
• Keep your Omega-6 fatty acids very low and keep your Omega-3 fatty acids very very high

The best foods for blocked arteries:
• Wild-caught salmon
• Sauerkraut (a fermented cabbage product): it's loaded with vitamin K2, it's also loaded with Vitamin C (7 times the RDA)
• A big arugula salad with extra-virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar (or red balsamic vinegar), sunflower seeds, Parmigiano cheese (get the authentic type from Italy), and garlic

Nice list you've got there.

Ever try mega-dosing niacin, as in 1000MG? None of that "slow-release" garbage. Having it all at once it kind of the point.

It's kind of like drain cleaner for your vascular system. It will get into capillaries and clear obstructions.

WARNING: This shit will make your skin all red like a boiled crab and itchy as all getout for a short while during the "flush". Best to keep your lady nearby if you have one, unless you're some kind of freak that can scratch your own back.

Mrs. Cantaloupe can thank you later; there's a reason niacin is the #1 ingredient in gas station male-enhancement pills.

I remember in high school there was a kid who was sitting with a bright red face. He ate a bunch of niacin to pass a drug test or someshit.

I forgot about that.

Evidently, it can be used to foil piss tests as well.

It works

I used to see it on the boat all the time. You could tell who wasn’t gonna pass by how red and blotchy and worried they looked lol. Reminds me of a BM1 getting ready to retire and was going through a divorce, and he smoked a bunch of weed and came in and made them test him so he would get an OTH discharge and fuck her (and himself) out of his retirement. I vividly remember the look on his face (if “lmao” had a static face) waiting with some other guys to take their test. They looked worried. A few were very red and blotchy. This was always such a badass move to me and they way the dude handled everything that came with it was pretty stoic. He got a lot if shit from a lot of the command. He was what you would consider a “good sailor” by all measures.

I remember I saw a study about olive oil it was kind of amazing. In the study they were giving people some graphene because they suspected graphene would be really good for some various things and as part of the control groups they gave nothing to one group they gave just olive oil to the second group and to the third group they gave graphene mixed Olive oil. The graphene mixed olive oil did the best but the amazing thing was something like 95% of the benefit was also in the group two that just had the olive oil so in other words the olive oil was responsible for a huge beneficial effect.

You have to make sure you get real olive oil because olive oil is one of the most fake things in the world. The Italian mob apparently does a very good job of mixing non olive oil in the olive oil shipments coming out of europe. The other thing you should know is that in Europe they allow the chemical extraction of olive oil whereas in California they do not. In olive oil in California has to be pressed from the olive with no chemical extraction. So actually it's one of the few cases where something about California is better. So you're better off getting California Olive oil rather than Italian Olive oil.

I had olive oil when I was in Italy. It didn't matter what brand, they were all so good. You could just dip bread in it and eat it. I have yet to find one in America that compares. I don't know the reason, but somehow America cannot make olive oil.

(((Italians))) adulterate the oil, maybe the local stuff in Italy is genuine, but I'll never buy Italian. Try Spanish or Greek.

Make sure it's from a dark glass bottle. Preferably fresh as possible from vineyard due to breakdown of polyphenols over time. The type of process they use to extract the oil is important. Testing for polyphenol content is a decent way to ensure quality.

I get mine from Blueprint but there's plenty of good vineyards out there, they just take the having to look for one aspect out of the equation.

Also EDTA will pull the hard calcium deposits out of your arteries. You can buy EDTA in a powdered form as an additive to food. You can also find foods that have EDTA in them. Because EDTA helps with freshness. EDTA is naturally occurring in many vegetables.

Magnesium oxide supplements help too.

Pardon my ignorance, can you unblock arteries?
I like your list. I'd add sardines and kombucha. Go easy on dairy.

Sauerkraut dosent have that much K2. You want natto for natural K2 or a supplement with MK-7

Dont forget to eat fresh omega 3. If you take a DHA/EPA supplement, refrigerate it. If you take flax seed, grind it your self, refrigerate it and eat it within 1 or 2 weeks. Or just eat fresh raw walnuts.

Flavanoids and other phenolic supplements reduce inflamation of the arteries, which is a cause of the pathology of atherosclerosis. So taking quercetin, green tea, resveratrol, turmeric, etc will slow that damage.

I take baby aspirin every other day. It may be hard on the GI tract for some folks. The clotting issue might be an issue for some people as well. But Ive been doing it for a couple of years with no problem and it could be preventative of multiple diseases including vascular disease.

In doing a quick read up. Certainly no expert here but many folks are on blood thinners to prevent a h.attack because of a blood clot. My understanding is vit K1 or K2 acts as a coagulant/koagulant(to thicken or stop bleeding which can form blood clots). Is that not counter to what you're trying to achieve or am I missing something

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 10 monthsAug 17, 2024 16:43:03 ago (+0/-0)

I think thats K1. K2 seems to improve vascular health by moving the calcium out of the blood stream and into the bones. Calcium plaques are partly responsible for atherosclerosis.

Thank you for all the comments. Just had a 2nd h. attack a month ago. They don't know why. No plaque. Don't smoke, drink, drugs, exercise regularly, not overweight, hunter(process myself). Headed to mayo next month hopefully to get answers.

Good luck. Any sort of arrhythmia or was that ruled out as well?

[ - ] Crackinjokes 0 points 10 monthsAug 17, 2024 12:02:14 ago (+0/-0)

One of the most important things for your heart to prevent a heart attack according to many people that have read is to keep an essential balance of your electrolytes which are primarily sodium like in salt potassium like in potassium chloride another form of salt and magnesium which can come in several forms including a little couple of grains of Epsom salt dropped into whatever you're drinking.

When you do have a heart attack and you go to the hospital one of the first things they do is start an infusion of magnesium.

It is the balance of these three electrolytes and not the amount of intake of any one of them such a salt which causes things like high blood pressure and arrhythmia is in your heart.
