old time woods fag here. Spent most of my life in the deep woods of hte PNW.

There is zero forest management going on at the federal level and minimals at the state level and has not happened in 40 years. No logging, no fuel midigation, nothing.

The forests have built up huge amounts of fuel and man has encroched deeper and deeper in.


Gotta manage those forest like crops. selective log at 40 acer plots as needed and replant, sell lumber for profit. the way it worked from 1820 to 1975.


But collage graduates with zero time in the woods or from the culture live in washington and dictate ev and forest policy.

It's just more maddness, in a mad, mad, mad world.

And what does NASA know about forest fire fighting??

Looking at the map, the fire season in western USA has increased by almost a whole whopping day. Big effing deal for a fire season that typically lasts for two or three months.

You mean the kind of ongoing man made climate change involving antifa fags starting forest fires right off of major highways?
