His singing career baffled me since he absolutely, objectively could not sing. I fucking hated his voice, along with Janice Joplin. Plus he acted like a spastic.

When the night comes is a badass song but yeah, I don't get how he made it. I will say that song and love lift us up is really good. The live version is great. But he looked like a Jerry's kid sperging out swinging his arms when he sang on stage.
