I think the Gulf War and Grunge were really when America stsrted to get shittier--even still, the early 90's were probably 10x better than what we have now.

Don't forget that a pivotal scene of the film is of a young girl being taken advantage of by an older guy. Peak America anyone?

At it's heart the movie is just more Marxism masquerading as edgy and "cool". It depicts a bleak and ultimately hopeless culture.

It's no surprise that the Marxists eventually got exactly what they promised.

I’m just talking about the opening scene with the video games and the mall and stuff.

The movie was written by Cameron Crowe, who apparently (as an adult) went undercover in some high school, so for all we know, he was the inspiration for the adult stereo salesman who bangs Jennifer Jason Leigh.

Jennifer Jason Leigh is a jewess too. She was supposed to be 15 in the film while that Ron Johnson dude was in his 20s and the characters acted like it was supposed to be normal. Then her character fucks another dude and gets knocked up, where she goes straight to the abortion clinic. Pure kikery.
