I read some of the comments in the thread, and according to one poster, yes, provoking someone to attack is indeed premeditated, and does not count as "self defense" - at least in Texas, where this commenter is from. This incident actually took place in Atlanta, GA (go figure), but I imagine the self defense laws are pretty much the same.

Yep, that being said saying nigger one more time and using less than lethal force to defend yourself against an assault and battery would be fine.

If you study the history of supreme court decisions for "fighting words" you quickly realize it's horseshit. It started in the 1940s when a Jehovah witness got arrested by an officer for calling the officer a damned Fascist. Which is obviously protected by the First Amendment.

We don't see the beginning of the video, so more than likely he just honked at them or told them to move their ass and they responded by illegally blocking traffic. At which point the entire argument about fighting words would become moot as in such a scenario they were already engaged in illegal activity.

There's also the issue that the only reasonable form of "fighting words" i.e. threats, was only uttered by the niggers in question.

TLDR, you can't use lethal force until you're at risk of death or serious bodily injury, which he wouldn't be based on the niggers threats. You can use less than lethal force however.

That being said, if someone attacks you, however minor or major, you should have every right to air them out. Because you do not know how far they will take it. One slap could be the precursor to murder.

The less than lethal force graduation of violence is utter bullshit. It's a legal farce to allow niggers to attack you without being aired out.
