ruskies have been using this exact tactic all war. Retreat back and create a "pocket" then pound down and destroy and turn it into the "cauldron"


Remember their stated war goal is "to kill and destroy all war material and de-nazify uki" This is a perfect tactic for it.

The Ukrainian forces will NOT be able to maintain the supply lines, or an operating base that far into Russian territory.
