In the Book of Revelation why does the entire armies of the world surround Jerusalem?
Because Israel needs to be ripped apart the problem is Israel is protected by the promise of God so you cannot lay a hand on Israel as it is written. ( I'm not going to go find the verses I'm too drunk for that).
So how does Israel get its ass beat and gets his ass beat? It is by Christ splitting it in half from east to west and all of them running to the hills and the caves to hide from His Wrath.
I do feel I will witness that in my lifetime and so will all of you.
There a bunch of things that happen before the armies gather in the plains of Armageddon.
The israel that exists now might not be the one where the armies gather. The armies gather against Jesus, not the kikes.
Depending on how you interpret words, the armies gather with horses. I don't know any armies gathering against israel with horses right now - and I doubt the big powers have the number of horses to make any noteworthy army with them.
I like to play with perspectives, that is the only way I seem to be able to understand people and history and it requires a level of imagination with the understanding that God and His word states.
Put yourself in the mind of those who have been written down in the word of God.
It is not easy. It requires sacrifice. Remove yourself. Put yourself in a disciples' shoes... I mean sandals...
I can get behind that idea, as much of what we have today is foreign to even a lot of us.
But I think this is pretty unambiguous about the horses:
Rev 19: 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Are you saying that Jesus has a different horse than the kings and armies? Does Jesus ride a tank that birds can eat?
Edit: Greek word for "horse" and "horses" is the same root in every mention of these verses.

And I agree but that's not how the word of God is to be interpreted we're talking thousands of years in difference of speech between then and now.

All of the simple machines existed in 90AD, so which war instrument of today would best resemble a "horse" and nothing else?
