Thank goodness those dogs are ok!

Yeah, back in the early 2000s I learned the hard way that dogs will chew on nearly everything when they're teething or just young. I had some limited edition controllers that ended up with bite marks. Anything within my dog's ability to reach is fair game, so I started putting the new stuff higher than they could reach. In this case, no doubt the power bank was on top of a table or desk or something, probably after someone used it and left it there.

Power banks have been utterly useless lately, anyways. They make 120W chargers for devices now that can recharge them in less than 20 minutes if you're conscientious about how much battery life you consume on the go.

I travel a lot and don't always have access to an outlet. So I rely on power banks frequently. They have their uses.

Don't let the dogs treat them like chew toys.

I have some OG Star Wars figure that a beautiful Cocker Spaniel left his marks on.

Blackouts and field trips are a thing Mr. Powerbanksareuseless.

I have a couple of old car batteries lying about just for that. They can still hold a decent charge for running an inverter.

car batteries are the superior power banks.

Lol. You proved my point, but in a different way.

Yeah, I got a shelter mutt (beagle shepherd mix, go figure, but she was beautiful), got her at 12 weeks back in 06. Left my wallet on the coffee table and took a shower, get out and there was nothing left of it, just shards and scraps on the floor. Credit cards, ATM card, License and ID's, probably 400 bucks, all. gone. Miss you Katey-girl! She was my best friend for 14 years. And yes, she had a doggie door and free reign of a fenced in 1.5 acres

I'd like to keep one around if i knew i could let it sit around for a year at full charge and be ready to go in-case i need it but i don't trust any batteries to be able to hold a charge like that

"Uh no sir, you absolutely did get that wrong, you are not covered for 'Acts of Dog'"

I read that the house had a doggy door. Without it they likely would have been toast.

The larger dog is like "you dumbass".
