I notice it's only in the the working class cities like Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool etc. that this is happening. The wealthy in London who made the policies that caused the status quo and also impoverished the rest of the country aren't protesting. And nobody protests the real cause of their misery, their aristocratic rentier owning class in the House of Lords.
