Also the service life of the car is typically 1/3 as long as a conventional internal combustion automobile, or that you can’t service it yourself, or that the manufacturer can deactivate your car wirelessly, or that everyone is charging their car at peak times on high tariff and the vehicle is not designed for interstate travel only daily commuting.

Yeah, electric vehicles should be bikes, trikes, and whatnot. Small, easy to repair, not too expensive, easily charged via a small-med solar setup, etc.

For real traveling, steel and gas is the way to go for now. Probably for another 50-100 years.
