Lol.

Do you think it's only 75 miles from the east coast of Australia to the west coast of Australia?

Cause that's what your scale suggests.

And Gleason, the guy who made this map, on his patent application, said that he created this map by taking a globe, straightening the meridian lines and projected it onto a flat surface.

He ADMITTED that this is nothing but a distorted globe and the scale is clearly wrong.

Is thar what you're going with?

"Nah bro, we map out the earth using flat geometry and tools and then shape it into a globe and then we create a flat projection from that globe. It has to be that way because it's impossible to map out a globe using a compass and sextant. Dur"

So. That's not how Gleason made this map. He didn't use a compass. He didn't use a sextant.

According to him, he took a globe map, straightened out the meridian lines and projected the distorted globe map into a flat surface.

He took a model of the actual earth and distorted it by changing the lines, again, according to him.

And, we can verify that the meridian lines are not straight using GPS. The same system used by billions of people, with up to 3" of accuracy, with zero anomaly. The same system that proves earth curvature, that the earth cannot possibly be flat, and that at least 31 satellites are in orbit AROUND the earth.

But lemme guess, measurements aren't real unless you, personally, measure them, right?

Here is Australia on that map.

And here is the scale on that map.
https://files.catbox.moe/zl3sqa.jpeg

On the latitude line that goes through the lower half of Australia, which also goes through the tip of Africa, it shows Australia spans about 2.5 lines of longitude.

When you measure 2.5 lines of longitude on that latitude line, using the scale directly below it, see picture. It measures 70-75 miles.

When you look at the distance using GPS it's over 2000 miles straight line.

Are you going to insist the GPS measurement is off by 95% or 1900 miles?

They have no response to this.

GPS is a composite of many different measurements.

It's been pointed out before how you have no idea how to navigate.

You rely solely on this technology which has left you completely unable to reason about how the navigation is completed.

Maps of Australia are so inaccurate because nobody has ever fully mapped it out.

The moon map is probably actually a better representation of how the continents actually look.

Once again, for your retarded ass, GPS is a composite of many different measurements. You don't have an accurate singular map either. Mercator's are even worse than the Gleason's in terms of accuracy in the north.

Here is a video of Google Maps applying a curve after every duplicate tab.
https://files.catbox.moe/imq6d9.mp4

Because their maps are composites, just like GPS, and they have to APPLY THE CURVE.

It's not real, it's all 'technological' deception. And you entirely rely on the 'technology' and don't even understand that GPS stands for Ground Positioning System!!! "global" was later substituted in to fit the narrative.

Shove that up your pipe and smoke it boomer Christ denier.

Maps of Australia are so inaccurate because nobody has ever fully mapped it out.

Fully mapped it out? Ypu'rw a fuckin' faggot. Nigger, plenty of people have been to the east coast from the vwest coast to know that its further than 75 miles from one side of the country to the other as your bullshit map scale shows.

GPS is accurate, regardless of how you think it works, to 3" with WAAS augmentation, 7 feet with your cell phone's antenna.

Google maps, which I never mentioned, might be a compilation of maps, but they are oriented by GPS coordinates that don't change. And HPS is a spherical model, not a compilation of maps.

It's clearly not "ground positioning system" because aircraft use it well past 50,000 feet above the ground, something a ground tower system would be incapable of providing altitude information for. The ONLY way a 3d position fux can be established by triangulating the position to include altitude would be for the receiver to track 4 ORBITING satelites.

You didn't answer the question. Does Australia not being "fully mapped" mean GPS might be off 1900 miles when measuring a distance between 2 points 2100 miles apart?

Fag.

Google maps, which I never mentioned, might be a compilation of maps, but they are oriented by GPS coordinates that don't change.

Where do you think they get it from?

Like has been demonstrated before. You simply do not understand the technology you use, but you claim it to be absolute truth. This is not proof.

this explodes tiny brains

[ - ] FreeinTX 2 points 10 monthsAug 4, 2024 10:23:06 ago (+3/-1)

The extorsion of the map from that of a globe consists, mainly in the straightening out of the meridian lines allowing each to retain their original value from Greenwich, the equator to the two poles.

The guy who made this map.

Look how massive the distance from south america to south apefrica to south abostralia is. Huge. By this map it'd be quicker to fly from chile to canada than chile to australia. Weird how irl I can find shorter flights from australia to chile than chile to canada.
