Why would you need geometry to show me what the shape of Australia looks like on a map with a scale?

Show me a map with a scale for distance.

The distance from Ottawa Canada to Bejing China is 6911.

This is only possible on a spherical earth. This is proof of curvature.

The comparison of the distance between two lines of Longitude at northerly Latitudes and the same two lines of Longitude at the corresponding southerly Latitude being equal and both being shorter than at the equator is only possible with a globe. That is a fundamental principle of a sphere.

It's proof of a curve. You can even use the distance relationship using the latitude and equator to calculate the curvature.

I've seen 1 map, with a scale that's clearly wrong, and 1 model with no scale, of a flat earth. Both the map and the model's creators BOTH have said that they created the map and model using the spherical earth model, and distorting the lines of longitude into straight lines.

I did show you proof of the curvature. You can use the measured distances between two lines of longitude at specific lines of latitude and compare them to the distance at the equator to show the curve. As you move north or south from the equator the distances between the lines of longitude get smaller in a non linear way. That's the curvature that's causing that. We live on a level plane, we use euclid plane geometry and tools based around plane geometry to map out and create datums.

Here is a high school senior using longitude and latitude to calculate distances to the poles and equator.

Look at the math. It using formulas that are based on a sphere.
