Nobody who defends Heliocentrism dare watch and dispute any of the claims made and referenced from Jesuit sources on why Heliocentrism became the new Ideology pushed by the Church and Academia.
Ffs, do you guys realize how much has to be thrown out for your one idea to pass muster?
Stars are fucking big fusion bombs under control by the tug-of-war of their own explosive force and their own gravity. Things orbit these big fuckers because when they blow off material, it's a lot of material, enough for gravity to cause it to accrete into planets.
We haven't found a single star system in which the star was orbiting some central, much smaller planet.
The lengths you have to go to in order to think that our solar system is the lone exception. . .
It's not. It's just not. And it doesn't matter. For all of you flat-earthers who think you can't get theism without geocentrism, you're wrong. No serious person, not a single one of history's prominent theologians, thinks that. That's the beauty of the God hypothesis; whatever way it happens to be, God made it that way. Ironically, you don't even understand the infinite convenience of your own theories.
Nobody wanted gravity. Gravity is not worshipped. It is not talked about as 'all-permeating' and 'all-powerful'.
People observed that things fall when dropped, and Newtonian gravity does a better job than anything else at explaining this, i.e., the behavior of things falling near the earth's surface. It also did a better job of explaining the motion of things on earth than did previous Empedoclean views involving the four elements.
You don't need a non-Newtonian theory of gravity for the sake of globe earth. Whether we are talking about Newton or Einstein, you're getting a globe earth.

If you're going to commit to that, then why don't you toss out grammar, arithmetic, chemistry, geometry. . .the whole lot. They're teaching all of that in gubmint skooz.

Could you please provide the experiment that proves the theory of the all-permeating, all-powerful theory of "gravity"?
Much obliged.
