I can't be the only one that thought "Schutzstaffel" when reading "SS" and was confused for a split second.

Lets get real - the entire Secret service and local / State {Police actually FAILED to protect the presidential Candidate.
They should all be named and shamed and have a permanent notice on their employment record, if not outright released from service.
I would want none of these idiots around me anywhere.

It was a successful op. Now the official story is that the "ear nick" was an assassination attempt.

And Trump was talking about what a great job the secret service did on that day.

Because she did exactly what she was told to.

Why is it so hard to be fired from a government job? I've known people who worked at McDonald's get fired for calling out sick a few days in a row. Small mistakes are judged heavily by private companies.

My suspicion, is that firing people is a tacit admission of "We fucked up". That's why the head of the SS that resigned didn't have a report a week after the attempt. That's why nobody has been fired. Nobody gets disciplined, I don't understand it- what degree of incompetence gets you fired from a government position?
