Good for them both but I doubt this is the end of it. These freaks don't stop until you kill them. Dad will be demonized. The boy will be tormented. They will keep on until they find a "judge" that will let them mutilate the boy. They will keep dragging them to "court" until dad is broke and financially can't fight any longer.

I love my kids, I’m still married to their mother. They are grown and I live in an empty nest with my wife. It’s great! However, I would never ever get married. The risks are just not worth it. I got lucky, but that’s it, it was just luck. Reality is a harsh mistress.

The point of dating within your own community, because everybody already had a pretty good idea who the potential "crazy cat ladies" would be.

The problem came when everybody would leave home for colleges and jobs on the other side of the country, and lost their intel support structure, and everybody they met was a complete stranger from the start. We became fragmented.

Any time you're not getting the right results, go back to fundamentals. Family, community. Look to the people in your home town.

Talk to your parents. Talk to people at your/their church. Reconnect to the network.

My wife says, "Look at the people who she looks to for approval in her life. Look at her parents, her relationships with her parents, and who her friends are."

If the mother is nuts and/or she has a poor relationship with her father, she'll be nuts.

If the parents are good, and she has a good relationship with them, chances are she'll be good.

Children are wonderful and grandchildren are even better.
They are worth a struggle.

I could never have made it through the tough parts that we went through if my wife had not been with me 100%.
What I'm saying is there are good women. Be very selective when looking for a wife.

I did it but was moving from another state. I know of a couple of people who decided to up and leave but they were single and went to another western country. Moving with a 4 year old would definitely present challenges, but above all he needs to do it as quietly as possible.
