El Salvador's brutal response to crime. Opinions?

Personally mixed feelings. I hate gangs, I hate low trust society..at the same time I hold out hope for fair trials and humane conditions.

Latin America as a whole have emptied their prisons, mental institutions, and forced them all into the United States.

Now would be the best time for them to go all out on whatever criminal element remains.

I wouldn't count out Bukele just yet. He may surprise everyone by introducing legislation that will grandfather those psychos into lifetime prison sentences with no possibility of pardon or parole. The people know things are better and will support it.
