The only beef I would buy from costco are the tomahawk cuts. The pork tenderloin is great seared with your favorite spices and then cooked at 375 for 30 minutes; pork belly cuts are great for extracting all that delicious pork fat (used for literally everything you cook later) while cooking up cubes of bacon that you can make into a korean bbq dish.
Wild caught Alaskan salmon. Wild herring with onion pieces in wine sauce.
ROTISSERIE FUCKIN CHICKEN that you can also pick clean, shred, and throw into some green sauce and your favorite cheese to make enchiladas or tacos.
Buy a bag of corn tortillas and fry your own chips in your preferred oil - which you can also get at Costco.

They have some reasonably decent stuff if you hunt for it. Like any grocery store though, 95% of it is trash. I keep my card active for the dog kibble. It's reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. The card pays for itself on kibble alone.

That’s a great point, and people here are missing the fact that you aren’t paying for the privilege to buy their food court swill - but for their low prices in gasoline and food and electronics and supplies etc; the membership pays itself off if you only buy their gasoline, which is usually 30cents cheaper than other gas stations. Other things they have, like fruits and vegetables, are always rotten and overpriced; don’t ever buy anything at one place, but the amount you save is worth the admission and more…

The hot dogs and ice cream at costco are sold at below the price of production, meaning for less than the company would be able to make a profit on, they take this loss because it is offset by the profits that make elsewhere, such as through Costco membership fees.

I eat a pound of bacon every single day.
I've been doing it for almost 20 years now.

Every single day I wrap a pound of bacon around jalapeños and eat them while playing video games.

I started to gain a little weight so I switched over to turkey bacon.

There is just one problem.

Costco sells dark meat turkey bacon that actually tastes just like bacon.

So I go to Costco every two weeks and fill up a cooler in the back of my truck with bacon.
