Japanese kids aren't taught about the war in school. Just "the US bombed us".

The Japanese war crimes trials were rushed and hushed. No publicity no nothing.

A lot of what they said about the Nazis was actually true of the Japanese military.

THey also tried to present the Japanese culture as Chinese after the war but gave up. Everyone knew the Chinese weren't quiet, polite and self effacing.
