How do you protect against a top down force pushing evil?

How do you protect against a group of elites of some type pretending to be victims to accomplish their goals?

Any response of that's anti-semitic or racist can easily be met with that's what this group would say, so still, how do you protect against it?

For example you can ask these questions in context of the vaccines. Inevitably someone will say you have to trust the science or don't be stupid, of course it's safe. You can say once again, that's what this force WOULD say so still how do you protect against it?
