Americans are obsessed with hot coffee

Americans like their coffee much hotter than Europeans. In fact, McDonald's even served coffee so hot that it severely burned a woman and she had to seek medical care.

Personally, I think the Europeans have the right idea. Hot, but still easily drinkable. Some places that serve coffee, I either have to wait to drink it or add extra cold creamer to cool it down.

You don’t. Come the US and try the fast food.

Not only will you find that it tastes better because it has many ingredients illegal in Europe, it will also give you brain fog. I know from experience that the food hits better in the US. Disregarding human health, of course.

And I am one of 'em. I like my cup hot before I pour coffee into it and I like to keep it hot my nuking it when it gets luke warm. Always have, always will.

205° is the right temperature. It's going to cool to around 180° by the time you finish making it, then your cream or half & half is going to cool it down further to near sipping temps while you get settled.

I have a couple pounds I need to roast so I can alternate with tea.

The coffee was served that hot to discourage people from drinking it inside the restaraunt.

I use an insulated travel mug for my morning coffee.
I drink only one cup per day, and I may take an hour or more to finish it.
I'm not a fan of cold coffee.

I drop four ice cubes into my morning coffee mug so I can get it down and get on with things.

The American coffee that scaled the nigger was because the machine was on cleaning mode IIRC
