You see, They can lie to people like you and me all day about the shape of the Earth and it's not really going to directly affect anything tangible. But if they lied about the shape of the Earth to a navigation system for an aircraft, well they would be crashing it into the ground all the time and people would be dying and there would be a lot of questions as to what the fuck is going on.

So what they did is they added in the manual that you have to assume you're flying over a flat on rotating Earth. It's really simple and it's pretty obvious. You do know that they have faked shit worldwide like the Holocaust and covid right? It's not unprecedented.
